01 The budget is included, and it is dollars
Open includes $1 a month, Craft $7, Craft Team $20. One pool for the whole workspace. It resets every month.
02 Usage is the real cost of each request
Not a flat fee per message and not an abstract credit. What a request costs depends on the model and the thinking level you pick, from off to high. The meter counts the actual dollars.
03 When it runs out, it stops
The assistant pauses for the whole workspace until the budget resets. Your document stays fully editable. Nothing is charged automatically, so the bill can never run past the plan on its own.
04 Credits are optional, and only if you want them
On paid plans the owner can add prepaid dollars, from $5. They are used only after the monthly budget is spent, never before. Unused credits stay with the workspace and are refundable for up to 180 days.
Open plans have no credits and no overage. When the budget is spent, the assistant simply waits for the next monthly reset.

- What happens when the monthly AI budget runs out?
- The AI assistant pauses for the whole workspace until the budget resets next month. Editing your drafts keeps working. There is no surprise charge and no automatic overage. On paid plans you can add AI credits to keep going; on Open you wait for the monthly reset.
- Is pricing per seat? How are members counted?
- No. Each plan is one flat monthly price per workspace, not per seat. Members are the people in a workspace (owner, editors, viewers); the cap is up to 3 on Open and Craft, and up to 25 on Craft Team. Pending invitations count toward the cap.
- What happens to my drafts if I downgrade or cancel?
- Nothing is deleted. Plan changes take effect at the end of the billing period: a downgrade moves the workspace to the lower plan, and a cancellation returns it to Open. Either way you keep your existing drafts and members; you just can't add new ones beyond the new plan's limits until you're back under them.
- Do unused AI credits roll over?
- AI credits stay with the workspace and are used only after the monthly budget is spent. They are refundable for up to 180 days after purchase. The monthly AI budget itself does not roll over; it resets each month.
- Do I need a credit card to start?
- No. Open is free and is where every workspace starts. You only enter billing when you upgrade a workspace, and Stripe shows the exact charge before you confirm.
- How do I change or cancel a plan?
- It is self-serve through Stripe. Upgrades take effect immediately, and Stripe shows the exact charge before you confirm. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Can I get my content out?
- Yes. Your drafts are Markdown, and you can export them at any time. There is no lock-in.
- No credit card to start. Open is free and the default.
