Terms of Service
Last updated: June 24, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Ramble (“the Service”), operated by Sublime Dev, LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), a Delaware limited liability company.
By using Ramble, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
Ramble is a collaborative Markdown editor with real-time sync and an optional AI assistant. We offer free and paid plans. Features and functionality may change over time.
Your Account
Registration
To use Ramble, you must sign in through an authentication provider. You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your credentials secure
- Notify us of unauthorized access
Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Your Content
Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you create. We do not claim intellectual property rights over your content.
License to Us
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store and transmit your content as necessary to operate the Service
- Process your content to provide features you use, including the AI assistant
- Create backups for data integrity
- Display your content to users you authorize
This license ends when you delete your content or account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Ramble to:
- Store or share illegal content
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Distribute malware or spam
- Access other users’ content without authorization
- Interfere with the Service’s operation, including its usage limits and safeguards
- Violate applicable laws
The AI Assistant
Ramble includes an optional AI assistant. By using it, you agree to the following:
- The assistant generates responses and suggested edits based on the messages and document content you provide. You choose whether to apply its suggestions.
- AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing it before you rely on it.
- The assistant relies on third-party AI providers, which process your messages and the content you provide in order to generate responses. Our handling of this information is described in our Privacy Policy.
- Use of the assistant is subject to the usage limits and monthly AI budget of your plan. On paid plans, you can purchase AI credits for usage beyond your budget.
- You agree not to use the assistant to generate prohibited content or to disrupt or circumvent its safeguards or limits.
Plans and Payments
Ramble offers a free plan and paid plans.
- Billing. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges for your plan until you cancel.
- AI usage. Each plan includes a monthly AI budget. AI usage depends on how much work the AI models do for your requests, so longer documents and longer responses use more of your budget. On paid plans, you can purchase AI credits to continue once you reach your budget. Purchased credits do not expire while your paid plan is active. If your paid access ends, any remaining credits expire one year later.
- Renewal and cancellation. Paid plans renew automatically each billing period. You can cancel at any time, and your plan remains active until the end of the current period.
- Refunds. Unused AI credits you have purchased may be refundable as described in the app. Fees already charged for a plan period are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Price changes. We may change prices. We will give reasonable notice of changes that affect your plan, and changes take effect on your next billing period.
- Taxes. Prices may not include taxes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Collaboration
When you share content or invite collaborators:
- You control access permissions
- Collaborators can see your profile information
- Shared content is visible according to your settings
Service Availability
We aim to keep Ramble available, but:
- The Service is provided “as is” without uptime guarantees
- We may perform maintenance that affects availability
- We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
Intellectual Property
Ramble’s design, code, and brand are owned by Sublime Dev, LLC. These Terms do not grant rights to our trademarks or intellectual property beyond what is needed to use the Service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to amounts you paid us in the past 12 months (if any)
- We are not responsible for data loss due to circumstances beyond our control
- The AI assistant’s output is provided without warranty, and we are not liable for actions you take based on it
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Sublime Dev, LLC from claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or your content.
Privacy
